Brian Berger, MD

BrianBergerDr. Brian M. Berger joined Boston IVF back in 1998 and currently works as the Director of the Donor Egg and Gestational Carrier program. His areas of expertise include treatment of miscarriage, decreased ovarian function or elevated FSH, treatment in women with unexplained infertility, and male infertility. Many of Dr. Berger’s patients have been to several other fertility centers but have had unsuccessful experiences there. Dr. Berger provides quality, personal care and takes advantage of the most up-to-date technologies to help you and your partner start a family.

After completing his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Berger completed his fellowship at the University of California, San Diego and the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a Fellow in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and also is involved with American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the New England Fertility Society.

Dr. Berger currently teaches at Harvard Medical School. He’s given numerous talks both nationally and internationally on such subjects as ovarian hyperstimulation, reproductive medicine, recurrent miscarriage, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), reproductive medicine, and optimizing progesterone therapy in infertility. He has written several pieces for publications as well as textbooks, and he has reviewed articles for the medical journals Fertility and Sterility. His current research has specialized in fertility-enhancing techniques. Dr. Berger’s protocol for treating women with decreased ovarian function was recently published, adding to the increasing knowledge to help women successfully conceive.
