Rita Sneeringer, MD

Rita SneeringerDr. Sneeringer graduated with honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in OB/GYN at the Harvard affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Boston IVF and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Sneeringer is a clinical instructor at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Society for Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Sneeringer’s clinical interests include infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, amenorrhea, premature ovarian failure and hyperprolactinemia. Dr. Sneeringer also has an interest in the medical and surgical treatment of fibroids and endometriosis. She performs minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) for the purpose of optimizing fertility.

Dr. Sneeriniger has published research studies on various topics including ovarian factors that are associated with fertility and comparative rates of success for various fertility treatments. She has presented her research nationally. She continues to be involved in research studies at Boston IVF.

In her spare time Dr. Sneeringer enjoys photography, drawing, watercolors and hiking.

Dr. Sneeringer sees patients at the Waltham Center and the Mt. Auburn Center for Women.
